Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil ~ A Review andGiveaway

I am crazy about coconut. About a year ago, I discovered virgin coconut oil, and all of the things I could use it for. It quickly became one of my staple items. I was happy to learn that virgin coconut oil has NO cholesterol and NO trans fats. it is also a good source of anti-oxidants. I also noticed that my baked goods stayed fresher, longer.

I was recently given the opportunity to try the Topical Traditions brand Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil.  It doesn't seem like there should be a big difference in brands, but I did prefer the Tropical Traditions to the other brand I was using.  In addition to providing a high quality coconut oil, I really appreciate the company itself.

When I visited their website for the first time, I was impressed by the sheer volume of information. You can find out how the oils are made, the difference in the quality or grade of the oils, and a HUGE recipe directory including an entire page of gluten free recipes.
If you have never used coconut oil, it is white and solid at room temperature, but melts easily and becomes clear when warmed up a little bit.  It adds a nice flavor when added to warm drinks, it's easy to spread onto a piece of toast, or as a substitute for butter.

If you have any questions, there is a FAQ page as well as a customer service page that you can use for email communications.

You can find Tropical Traditions on the web, on Facebook, and also on Twitter.
The Tropical Traditions company has generously offered to provide one of my readers a quart of their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil. (retail value $37.50)
