Wisdomantics is an interactive game that combines a DVD component with a board game.  Players will be quizzed on the New King James Version of Proverbs as they go around the board that chronicles the life of King Solomon. This game would work for youth groups and gatherings of several different faiths since it is based on the Book and not doctrine.

The instructions are simple, but there are several key things to know.  Since a picture is worth a thousand words, and a video worth many more, this is the most efficient way to explain game play.

You can see that the game model blends luck, wisdom, Biblical ideals, and even a bit of strategy so it can be fun for everyone.  The bonus is that the players will also learn as they play.  The questions are randomized so it is always a new game.

The Wisdomantics game comes with 2 DVDs which contain 400 questions.  The answers to the Proverbs based quizzes are given in multiple-choice format.  The DVDs utilize a variable timer for
1st, 2nd and final attempts. when the correct answer is given King Solomon quotes the proverb and
instructs the players to draw the cards that will help them circle the board and complete their "temple".

I have included some photos of thei cards, pieces, and game board.  you might see that the pictures on the game board tell the story of King Solomon’s life.  It begins with his wisdom and goodness, and ends with the kingdom divided by disobedience and rebellion.

Since the game is a bit long (almost an hour) to play, the video interactive element is what holds the kids attention and makes it interesting.  This is especially helpful for my multisensory learners.and it adds some depth to the game.

When a group learns the game basics they can visit the website for strategy hints and a question tracking sheet.

Look for a new version that utilizes the NIV translation coming soon.
