If your kids have grown up watching the VeggieTales and What's in the Bible? videos you might like the newest Phil Visher DVD, Galaxy Buck: Mission to Sector 9.  This is meant to be a children's movie, but the whole family can enjoy this funny space themed tale with a foundation in Christian principles.

Here is a short trailer which will give you an idea of the tone and tenor of the film.

As you can see, Buck Denver may be slightly under-qualified to venture out into space, but what he lacks in experience, he makes up for in determination. He is eventually given the golden opportunity to live out his dream to spread God's love to every corner of the galaxy! His dream come true quickly becomes a nightmare and things are not going his way at all.  Although Buck does become discouraged, he recovers when he remembers to trust God with everything.

There are several fun moments in the story where parents will see a nod to the Star Wars and Star Trek movies.  You can watch the episode right now on JellyTelly, and online site for online streaming of movies that are God, Family, and Bible centered.  Just follow the link in the bullet points and begin your own 7 day FREE trial.
