Applied Labels ~ Product Review

applied labels

A couple of weeks ago, I received a great product for review through

Applied Labels have so many possible uses, and they are very easy, too. I am really happy to get the word out to other mothers about them.

The first thing a busy mother might want to know is that these labels are applied with an adhesive. There is no sewing, no ironing. They will stick to plastic, glass, clothing, and almost anything you need to label. Once they are on, they can be put through the laundry or the dishwasher, and they will stay put without fading. You can even use them inside shoes! In addition, they are lead, BPA and DEHP free.

Applied labels were developed by a mother of two, who also happens to be a chemical engineer in charge of labeling for an aerospace company. As a customer, you will get the benefit of her experience with cutting edge technology, along with her mom savvy.

There are many reasons why these labels are just plain better than anything else I have used before. The superior quality of the adhesive, the material, and the print were obvious as soon as I opened the package. They are just the right size (1.5 inches by 0.5 inches) for easy identification and readability.

My sons belong to a mixed martial arts school. Every child there wears the same uniform, carries the same duffle bag, uses the same protective equipment. The Sensei is very organized, and makes sure the students keep everything in order during class. However, sometimes, a boy will leave something behind in the dressing room. Everything needs a name label. If your children are in scouts, or co-ops, you probably have the same issues. When we were in public school, anything without a name on it seemed to disappear. We also go to the pool, a gymnastics class, and many other places where children's items all get tossed together. It's nice to be able to pick ours out quickly and easily without any confusion overs who it belongs to.

It's hard to tell which child is which, let alone which headgear or shin guard belongs to which kid!

As I mentioned earlier, these have very nice, easy to read print. You will choose one or two lines of print with your choice of font. You may also pick an icon to go with your name. There are 18 to pick from.

The only thing that I would add is that you might want to do a practice label first. Once you get the hang of how to use them, they are so easy that even my clumsy, numb, neuropathy ridden fingers can do it!

The prices vary, depending on what you'd like to buy, but these are fairly affordable, 30 labels are $14.95. These come in combination packs , too.

It is also noteworthy that the company is very civic minded. They will help non profit organizations with donations, and they participate in fundraisers.

Applied Labels definitely gets my recommendation.

Follow Applied Labels on Facebook and Twitter , too.
