Chloraseptic Products ~ a Review and Giveaway

Chloraseptic Logo

Here it is, Mid January; we still have quite a bit of winter left. So far my husband and I have both had a flu, the children have both had coughs and sore throats, and we are going through tissues like crazy. It seems like everyone I'm talking to is telling the same story. Ahhh.. the joys of the season. :)

Whenever I get sick, my throat feels like I have swallowed ground glass, and I get cold sores inside my mouth. This was indeed an extremely timely review for me.
Chloraseptic continues to be the #1 most recommended brand by pharmacists for the treatment of sore throat. The Master's Circle is an elite group of 52 OTC products that earned at least 50% of pharmacists' recommendations in the Pharmacy Times OTC recommendations survey.
If you are not familiar with Chloraseptic products, the lozenges are a combination of medications. The shell is a cough drop with menthol to open the nasal passages and quiet coughs. The soft anesthetic center is designed to soothe sore mouths and throats. These made my mouth and throat numb, and they remained that way for quite a while. The lozenges come in a wide variety of flavors, too. My samples were Green Tea and Real Honey, and Citrus.

Chloraseptic Lozenges

They are also available in Honey Lemon and Cherry flavors. In addition, there are MAX Lozenges (maximum strength) in Wild Cherry and Wild Berry, as well as a Sugar Free Wild Cherry formula for diabetics.

The other product I received was for the children. The Kids' Sore Throat Pain Spray is very easy to use. The grape flavored solution is simply sprayed onto the sore throat area using the pump dispenser every two hours as needed. The anesthetic soothes the burning pain making it easier to swallow, which in turn makes it easier to keep the little ones hydrated. This is for use with children ages 3-12 with adult supervision.

Chloraseptic also has a line of adult sprays in a variety of flavors.

If you would like to learn more about Chloraseptic products, they have a great website, full of information, videos, a tool the help you choose the right product for your needs, and even a cold and flu tracker. (I was not the least bit surprised to find my area of New York listed as 'very high" on the tracker)

Another great reason to visit chloraseptic.com now would be for the printable coupon for one dollar off any one of their products.

Some more good news - The Chloraseptic company has graciously offered to provide one of my readers with the same sample package I received. If you are the winner, you will get two 18 count packages of lozenges and a bottle of children's spray.
