Hawaiian Kettle Style Potato Chips – A Review and Giveaway – Ends 6/11

Hawaiian Kettle Style Potato Chips

If you love potato chips, you won’t want to miss this review and giveaway!

We are definitely a chip loving family.  A good, crunchy snack often satisfies our sensory needs along with our hunger, so I like to keep a good stock on hand.  Anyone who is a frequent visitor to our home knows where to find the chip supply, and will often head right to the pantry to help themselves.

I won’t eat just any kind of potato chip though, I’m pretty picky.   Kettle Cooked Chips are really the only kind of potato chip I enjoy, so when I was given the opportunity to try some Kettle Style Potato Chips by Hawaiian, I was a happy lady!

Hawaiian has only recently begun to sell its products nation wide - so look for the bright colorful packages at your grocery store!
Hawaiian Kettle Style Potato Chips
Hawaiian Kettle Style Potato Chips are available in four flavors, and are in 2oz, 8 oz or 16 oz bags.

The flavors are really unique. (and very delicious!!) Their tagline is “Lolo Ono”, which translate to “Crazy Delicious”. I think that’s a pretty good description!
Here’s what  the company has to say:
Discover a new world of Flavor Destinations when you crunch into Hawaiian® Kettle Style Potato Chips. The crispy, golden chips are cooked to perfection, then salted just enough to enhance the natural potato flavor. Using the traditional Polynesian recipe that originated the Hawaiian® Kettle Style Potato Chip, only the finest ingredients are used to create a chip that captures the freshness and authenticity of the islands. Open a bag of Hawaiian® Kettle Style Potato Chips, and let yourself be swept away to a tropical paradise of blue skies and warm, sandy beaches
Here’s what I say:

The Original flavor chips were nice and crunchy, with just the right amount of salt.

Sweet Maui Onion chips are really great tasting.  The sweet onion flavor is mellow and smooth, not overpowering like some onion chips can be.

My husband and I shared the bag of Luau Barbeque Chips.  Wow!  They were fantastic!  In addition to the sweet taste of barbecue, there is a great, spicy kick to these that we really liked a lot.

The Wasabi Chips were also quite good!  These chips are cut a little bit thicker, and are flavored with wasabi root and horseradish.   I love hot and spicy foods, so I tried these ones first,.  They were all that I had hoped for, and more!

You can find these chips in grocery stores, or order them online.   Also, if you’re lucky, you could WIN them!

The Hawaiian Company has generously offered to provide one of my readers with the same  four package assortment of chips that  I received.  Here’s what to do if you want to win them.
