Have you got a minute?  Yes?  Then you have time for a Cranium Brain Break!

Cranium games are always a great choice for fun, and their newest offering, Brain Breaks is a great addition to the product line.

The game comes with everything you see here:
  • Dice with Letters
  • Play-Doh
  • a One Minute Timer
  • a Numbered Die
  • Activity Cards
  • Paper

The cards feature all of the usual Cranium categories.  Creative Cat, Word Worm, Star Performer and Data Head are all included.

So, how does it work?  It's pretty simple.  Once the game is opened, players can either work as teams or play against one another.

Players will draw a card, and read the instructions.  Once they understand the assignment, they get ready, and the timer is turned over.  They will have one minute to complete the task.

The instructions vary.  Creative Cat will ask you to show off your artistic side, Star Performer has some fun activities, Word Worm wants word play, and Data Head still likes trivial matters.

If you have a competitive group, there are ways to score the game, which is fun for get togethers.  As a homeschooling mom, I immediately thought it would be a great for transitioning between assignments, or as a morning brain warm up.

Taking a minute out of the day for fun is extremely worthwhile.  What's better than laughing with my kids?  Not much!
