Hasbro's Simon Flash

The latest version of Simon, Simon Flash, is a a great update on an old favorite.

The classic round shape is replaced with 4 brightly lit cubes.  These game tiles are equipped with WonderLink Technology, so the game knows when you've moved, if you have placed it properly and what your final score is.

The instructions for play are on a "quick play" card, meant to make it easy to set up and get going.

There are four ways to play.   Power the game up, then choose a mode to play by pressing a colored cube.
Green will trigger the classic Simon game, where the player repeats Simon's pattern by pressing down on the tiles.  Yellow is Simon, Lights Off!  The player quickly lines up the cubes.  When one is in the right position, the light turns off. Quickly try to turn all the lights off to win!   Blue is for Simon Secret Color.  This is similar to Lights Off, but in this game the colors change. The player will try different patterns until all the tiles light up the same color.   Red is Simon shuffle.  When the colors change, the player tries to return them to their original order.

Each cube requires 2 AAA batteries.  These are included.  The game will shut of automatically after three minutes of dormancy, extending the battery life.

Some games require the case,  so don't toss it aside.  I love the case - it is easy to clean up, keep the pieces together and to take along.

Simon Flash exercises the brain requiring memory and logic to play.  Are you up for the challenge?

I have been invited to host a giveaway - so one of my lucky readers will win their own Simon Flash Game.

I was given a copy of this game in order to provide an informed, blogged review.  I was not paid to write this post, and my opinions are genuine.
