The Zing Toys Company, located in Portland, Oregon, was founded in 2006 with the goal of creating toys that would inspire kids to get up and moving when they play.  The AirStorm line certainly does just that!

Now that I have had a chance to play with these myself, I understand why the AirStorm  made the Time to Play Magazine 2012 Most Wanted List.  All of the products in the line are easy to use, provide instant satisfaction, and the ammo really flies!  Moms will appreciate the  overall affordability and the design of the darts.  The size and the material used make them relatively safe.  (Of course, common sense should be applied - Don't aim at people or animals, and be careful of the eyes and face!)

The brightly colored ammo makes search and retrieval fairly easy, but just in case,  replacements are available.

With five different options to choose from, there is an AirStorm product to suit every family.  Children who can't get out into a yard can play with Pop Rockets or a Zing ShotsThe little rockets and foam balls will fly about 45-50 feet.

This Zing Shot Launcher is a great size, and packs great fun.  The soft foam ball are designed to quickly load and launch.  They can fly 45 feet and work well for an ambush on your brother target practice.  The Suggested Retail Price of $9.99 includes one launcher and three Blaze-X Balls.

Pictured Below is a set of Pop Rocketz.  These are small and portable, and easy to use.  Simply slide a rocket on to the handle, squeeze, and watch it fly!  They really get some height.  (We had to wait for a good rain to retrieve one from our second story gutter.)

While the rest of the line is created for ages 8 and up, this one can be used for ages 5 and up.  These are also super affordable with a suggested retail price of $4.99 for the launcher and three foam rockets.

Kids with more room can bring the Z X Cross Bow, Zip Back Bow, or Curve Bow outdoors to catapult the Zarts and Z-Arrows 90-125 feet!  Store the extra Ammo on the Bow, then, when ready, use the hook and release method to easily set up, take aim, and fire.

The size and weight of all three make them easy to carry, and they are designed to fold closed for easy storage.

Looking at the image above from left to right, you will see the Z-Curve Bow is the first in line.  Young archers easily hook in and shoot their arrows up to 125 feet.  The price suggested for this bow is $19.99 and it comes with two BlazeX Long-Range Arrows and 1 Suction-Cup Zartz Arrow.

The Zip Back Bow shoots soft, foam arrows as far as 95 feet.  The bounce back design is a great feature, too.  Suggested retail price is $14.99 and it includes the bow, one Zartz arrow, and two Z-Arrows.

The toy on the far right is the Z-X Crossbow.  The crossbow design is very cool in and of itself.  This model has a trigger release feature catapults safe foam ammo about 45+ feet. Like the others, this bow is fast-loading and the when shot properly, the Zartz suction cups stick to almost any surface.  This could also be used indoors in a playroom or basement.  Priced at $19.99, it includes one Z-X CrossBow and three short Zartz Arrows.

Here are my guys playing with the AirStorm Toys.  I was going for the candid reaction, so I was shooting from a second story window.  I think the boy noises paired with the "Oh, DUDE!" and "Awesome!" exclamations capture how much they liked them.

Zing has other cool product lines such as ICKEE Stickeez, Zing Air, Air Hunterz, and more.  You can visit them on the web, Facebook, Twitter or YouTube using the links provided above.

In exchange for an honest review, I was sent some Air Storm toys.  I was not paid to write this post and my opinions are always honest and genuine.
