Time to Play Mag Has Made Their Top Holiday Picks

time to play most wanted
Yesterday I had the opportunity to attend the Time to Play Mag Holiday Showcase.  Although New York was experiencing torrential downpours, (and I arrived looking like a drowned rat!)  it certainly didn't put a damper on the good time inside!

The event started with Time to Play Mag's "Most Wanted" presentation. Then the attendees had the chance to meet with over 40 different toy vendors and see what was new and hot for the upcoming holiday season.  Try to imagine a room full of grown adult people set loose in a room filled with toys.

There was so much to see!  A lot of the items were branded for TV and Movie Characters, so if you don't know what is popular with the kids lately, you might want to catch up.

Cinderella will be released on BluRay next week, The Avengers, Batman and Spiderman all had big screen movie releases, and The Hobbit is about to hit theaters.  There are plenty of related toys and dress up items to keep the fans happy.

TV shows are also well represented.  There is a Doc McStuffins doll and she cares for her stuffed animals just as she does in the Disney Channel show.  Young Nickelodeon viewers will enjoy a wide array of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys, and their older sisters will swoon for items featuring the boy band 1D.  If your family watches Cartoon Network don't miss the toys with characters from Adventure Time, The Regular Show, and The Annoying Orange.

If your children enjoy video games, you probably know that Giant Skylanders that will be available in stores very soon.  You can also find MegaBloks building toys with Skylanders branding as well as their World of Warcraft, Need for Speed, and Halo kits.

Here are a few items from the "must Have" list.

This is the Doc McStuffins Time for Your Checkup Doll.

This is one of the many Skylanders kits from MegaBloks.
Mech Ambush

The latest from Nerf.  More ammo, more power, more fun.
Spin Master has a new Air Hogs RC Helicopter.   This one is even more responsive, and if you download the app, it adds even more fun to the experience.

Speaking of apps, there are so many app integrated ideas now.  The makers of Jib-Jab have wonderful storybooks called StoryBots that put your family and friends faces on the characters.  Crayola and Disney both have supercool stylus pens that work with apps to make beautiful digital creations.  App_Gear and Hasbro, have some fun app games that I have either reviewed, or will soon be reviewing here on my blog.

Between now and Christmas, I will be writing in more detail, but for now, enjoy the link to the Most Wanted list, and check out the great toy reviews from Time to Play Mag.
