Conversations With God - An eBook For a Cause #Autism @udbl

Conversations with God

Conversations With God

Conversations With God is a prayer journal filled with the author's personal thoughts. Her plan is to use the proceeds to provide warm clothing, portable heaters and coats to families in need that have children with autism. The heaters are specially made with fire safety in mind. They will shut off if bumped or knocked over.

Conversations with God is a 95 page eBook available through Smashwords.  The purchase price is $2.44, and it can be downloaded to read on the computer, a Kindle, or with ePub file reading apps like iBooks.

Lia Burres pours her heart into each entry.  From mid November until late December she typed out her thoughts.  Partly as a way to deal with her panic attacks and anxiety and partly a way to express her gratitude, she just let the words flow.  There is a roller coaster of emotions as she deals with her five children, worries for a friend with terminal illness, expresses her concerns about Christmas, and shares her praise and thanks for answered prayers.  She didn't try to smooth the edges or pretty up her thoughts so her emotional honesty is apparent.

The author also has Fibromyalgia (a condition I suffer with as well) and fibro can really wear a soul down.  I know that prayers and keeping the needs of others ahead of my own really helps a lot.  She also suffers with depression and anxiety.  Thankfully, I don't share this struggle, but I admire the way that she continues to give it to God.

Anyone can purchase Conversations with God from Smashwords.  As I mentioned, every purchase helps a family in need.

To learn more visit Lia’s blog or find her on Facebook and Twitter.  She also has a business, Crafty Toy Store.

Here is more good news!  Ms. Burres has offered two copies of the eBook for giveaway.  If you'd like to enter, please use the Rafflecopter form below.
