Lettuce Love One Another by Using Nice Words @VeggieTales

Today Junior Asparagus is reminding us to Use Nice Words.

As we continue to celebrate the release of the newest DVD collection from VeggieTales, Lettuce Love One Another, our friends at Big Idea are sharing some sweet ideas and thoughts to help us love one another each day.

Today's thought is that we should use nice words when we speak to one another.  That seems simple enough - but sometimes it is good to take some time and think about how we talk to our friends and family.  Do our little jokes hurt people's feelings?  Are we sarcastic, or gruff?  Do we remember to say please and thank you?

I enjoyed the Bible verse graphic for today's post which is 1 Timothy 2:1
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
All men.  Even (and probably especially) the ones who are the hardest to pray for.

There is also an activity to go with today's thoughts.

Using the stump from a head of lettuce and an ink pad. make this cute veggie style stamp art!  (The directions and link are under the image)
