#Batman Cruised Into Gotham in the Batmobile, and Handed Out @mezcotoyz

Yesterday was a fun day!  I took the boys into the city to catch a fun event at the Times Square Ripley's Believe It or Not.

What a great venue for hosting the unveiling of the new Mezco Toys  Classic Batman Mez-Its Toy line!  These toys are based on the classic 1960’s Batman classic TV series.

At about 11AM the Batmobile rolled in with the Caped Crusader at the wheel and Boy Wonder riding shotgun.

The first 200 visitors were given a toy to take home.

Robin was there to give his mentor a hand.

The picture you can see in the drivers seat is a fairly good representation of the Batman toy if it were blown up to that size.  It has the classic batman style suit, and the rounded features of the Mez-itz toys.

Don't you just love this Batmobile?

Out of town visitors were thrilled to see the Dynamic Duo drive through Times Square!

The toys can be ordered from the website now.  The three item package of Batman, Robin, and the Batmobile is $32 and will ship in mid July.

Here is the official description:
The most famous car in Gotham city and possibly the world can now be yours!
Mezco is proud to present the latest additions to the Mez-Itz DC Universe: the 1966 Batmobile with Batman and Robin.
Based on the iconic design from the beloved 1966 television series, the Mezco’s 1966 Batmoile features the iconic “bubble” windshields, Bat-Radar, Bat-Lights, Bat-Hubcaps, sculpted Bat-chutes , as well as the legendary red trim and Bat-logo on the doors.
The cockpit features detailed graphics including the Bat-scope viewing screen.
Also included are 2inch scale 1966 style Batman and Robin as seen on the popular television series. This is the 1st time the characters have been portrayed in their television style outfits for designer vinyl figures. Both figures actually fit within the Batmobile so they can fight crime in style. Each figure features a real cloth cape and five points of articulation with a million points of fun.
The 1966 Batmobile along with 2inch scale Mez-Itz Batman and Robin are packaged together in a collector friendly window box that allows for display without removal from the box.
Fans can find Mezco on Facebook and Twitter.

It was a fun event, and we had a great time.
While I was at the event, I received a Dark Night Rises Mezco Toy.  I have not been paid to share this information.
