Patch Products Flash and Furious
Flash and Furious is a new party game from Patch Products.  This one is made for 2-5 players or teams ages 12 and up.  It is a simple game, but not so easy to play!

You can see the package contents above.  To set up, just take the game and cards out of the box.  You're ready to go!  Now you or your team will pick a color and tap in by pushing that button on the game flasher.  Once everyone has checked in, you are ready for your first question.

Once you read the question aloud - for example, "High School Sports" - tap the large center flasher button.  A color will shine and the corresponding player or team has to call out an answer before a new color flashes.  At first it isn't too difficult, there is a bit of time between color changes, and the list of ideas is long.
The catch is that as the list grows shorter, so does the time between flashes - AND the music is getting faster and more distracting.  There is also no rhyme or reason to which color will come next - and a color may flash 2 or 3 times in a row!

It is definitely a just for fun kind of game, and it is not for tournament style play because the game unit doesn't play fair.  What it is perfect for is a lot of laughter.  Someone will inevitably call out a ridiculous answer, or freeze like a deer in the headlights.

When that happens, that player taps their button and the flasher stops.  Players regroup and read a new question and the fun starts all over again.

The cards are double sided and they have 3 choices per side.  Here are soem more examples includingthe "pick your own" cards.

To give you an idea of how frenzied game play gets, here is some video of the game unit as it speeds up.  I could not get any volunteers to let me video our game play which may be for the best - we do always end up looking pretty silly!
