LittleKids Toys have taken the simple ideas of bubble and water fun, added our favorite characters, some fun innovation, and come up with some simply irresistible toy ideas.
This is the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Bubble Launcher. This is suggested for kids ages 3 and up, and has a suggested retail price of $16.99. It includes the launcher, two propeller discs, and 4 ounces of bubbles.
As you can see, Michelangelo is holding a huge pizza. There are four small, ports to add the bubble solution. The solution comes in a great bottle. Notice that it has a small tip, so a knock over isn't as devastating. It is also shaped for small hands so that they can squeeze just the right amount in, without much trouble.
Once the ports are filled with bubble a bit of solution, (dont fill them to the top!) put the propeller into place, make sure it is engaged, hold it straight, and pull the string. The high flying bubble show is a lot of fun!
Here is a very short video - I used this strange effect so that you can see the shower of bubbles more clearly.
Now Check out the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles™ Shell Water Blaster. Children aged 3 and older will have a lot of fun with this one. Fill the shell shaped backpack with 33 ounces of water than shoot it from the nun-chuck. The water can go up to fifteen feet! The suggested retail price for this toy is $18.
The toy comes as a one piece unit. No assembly is required. If you notice the top of the shell, there is a piece that comes off, and that is where the shell can be filled. It pops on and off fairly easily.
There is some tubing the comes from the bottom of the shell to the nun-chuck. You can see the connection in the picture below. This does drip a tiny bit, but the object of the toy is to play in water, so the few drips don't matter very much overall.
In this video you can see my friend playing with the toy. We used it on a sidewalk so we could see the water marks. First we noticed how FAR the water went, and then we tested how high we could make it go. It is so much fun!
This is also available for purchase through the online LittleKids Shop, or at your favorite Mass Merchandise locations.
I think these are both a great idea for summer fun, and perfect summer gifts for fans ofthe Teenage Mutant Nija Turtles. Cowabunga!
