Jammy Jams - Upon This Rock
Once Upon This Rock is a CD of popular Christian Rock tunes converted to Instrumental Lullaby Tunes.  There are ten tracks and the tunes are played on percussion instruments.  The songs set a soothing tone that parents can enjoy, too.  It is certainly a nice break from the sing-songy tunes that can get stuck in our heads.  (I can't count the number of times that I have caught myself humming a Pre-K music tune and there weren't any kids around!)

The Jammy Jams songs incorporate the soothing sounds of vibraphone, marimba, xylophone, piano, blocks and other percussion.  The tracks are performed and arranged by Tim Phillips and Jeff Bradford.

The tracks are as follows:
1. Be My Escape (originally by Relient K)
2. Alive (originally by P.O.D.)
3. How To Save A Life (originally by The Fray)
4. Locked In A Cage (originally by Skillet)
5. Meant To Live (originally by Switchfoot)
6. Honestly (originally by Stryper)
7. Fully Alive (originally by Flyleaf)
8. Caught Inside (originally by The OC Supertones)
9. Flood (originally by Jars Of Clay)
10. Fireflies (originally by Owl City)
If you prefer different genres, there are more Jammy Jams to choose from.   Once Upon A Rhyme has popular Hip-Hop classics.  That was a pretty popular title, so they released Once Upon A Rhyme 2 with more Hip-Hop and some R&B.  Lullabylooza  has '90s Alternative tracks and Good Night Crawlers boasts some of the best Classic Alternative.  There are also two Hair Metal CDs, Pop Goes theLullaby and Goo Goo Gaga - a collection of Lady Gaga inspired lullabies.  If you would like to try a little bit of everything, pick up Greatest Naps Vol. 1: The Best of Jammy Jams.

If you would like to listen to the sound here is a sample of  the Jammy Jams Version of "Alive".
