Do you have a favorite devotional book?  I have several! It is such a blessing to be able to sit and reflect upon a passage of Scripture. Making time for daily devotion is a habit I developed while I was in my twenties and it has stuck with me ever since. Now I have begun to share a daily devotion with my sons, too.

It hadn't really occurred to me to look for a baby's devotional book, but you need to look at the adorable one I am sharing with you here!

The Say and Pray Devotional is a follow up to the Say and Pray Bible.  It allows little ones to focus on one blessing at a time while teaching them to read.

In the collage below you can get a feel for the book's format.

Say and pray

As you can see the style is similar to other early reader books.  Colorful illustrations are labeled with simple words to help babies learn to read. What's new is the devotional aspect.

Using the sample pages above to illustrate how this works.  First a word is introduced, in this case, Yummy!" We see a child in a high chair with a variety of foods in front of him.  Then we have the Say and Pray - a passage of Scripture and a short childhood appropriate prayer.

The top right portion of the collage shows what a full two page layout looks like.

This adorable book would make a good Baptism gift. It is a prefect choice for lap time or bed time. You can pick up a copy from Faith Gateway or Amazon today.
