Friday's Fave Five - March 2nd #Gratitude

fff winter button

Happy Friday!  I love Friday's Fave Five with Susanne at Living to tell the Story.  Sometimes, the weeks just fly by, and it's good to take a look back and remember the highlights.

1.  A sweet Little Birdie made me this new header for my blog.  And she stayed up very late last night to do it.  And I love her for it.  Thank you, Birdie!  xo

2.  My big brother is a pilot, which sometimes means he can be in town for a quick hour or two.  It was really nice to get a phone call inviting us to a quick lunch meeting.  He was my very first best friend, and I love him so much!  Thanks for the visit, Big Brother!  xo

3.  That horrific mess in my Wordless Wednesday Photo came out well.  It became the bricks which made these lovely Roman arches.  The boys did a great job on this project, and I was proud of them for following the directions, and for taking the time and care needed for these to come out right.  (even if I was twitching over all the mud and goop in my kitchen and dining room)  Thanks for doing such a nice job, boys! xo

 4.  I'm enjoying this Lenten Meme with Trish and Laura.  Anyone can join in, whenever they'd like.  The Linkys stay up for a week.  Thank you for hosting, ladies!  xo

5. I'm lucky enough to be married to a man who has allowed his home to become a huge schoolroom, adjusts his schedule around our field trips, and clears his calendar so I can go to Homeschool Conventions, special Masses, and seminars.  He's also really supportive of my blogging about it, when I could be ironing shirts or doing something more wifey.  Thanks for all of your support, and so much latitude, Love.  xo

I wish you all a wonderful and blessed week.  Thanks for dropping by!  xo

Your #5 cracked me up - do you really talk about Charlotte Mason all night long? Seriously, it is great when a spouse can support you in the things you are passionate about.

Kudos to your boys on taking time to do their project right!

I promise, we DO NOT talk about homeschool methods all night. But I thought the picture was hilarious. :)
It's awesome that your hubby is willing to support you in the things you are passionate about. Do you really talk about Charlotte Mason all night long? :)

Congrats to your boys for doing an excellent job on their project! I love to see kids go the extra mile.

Thank you. I really like it, too.
I loved your fff's. The way you wrote them made me "see" what you were talking about, Catherine, and so I had an emotional reaction to each one. :)
1. wonderful birdie and banner. 2.heart warming esp since my brother and I do not connect at all anymore (despite being buddies in our younger years). 3. Proud of your boys too and you for standing/allowing the mess before it became project! 4. Excited about participating in the Lenten meme, even if I don't post my "answers." 5.LOVE how you and your husband support one another in your passions!

Thank you! My brother really is a great guy. I am so lucky to have wonderful siblings.
Love your new banner! #5 made me laugh, #2 made me nod my head in agreement as one of my faves this week was talking with my brother. #3--good job, guys! I'll look in to the Lent link. Thanks! Go, Linked In--lol!

I am still getting more and more "connections". I have been laughing all week. I never knew I was so well connected. :)
My hubby is as sweet as yours, he supports me in everything I do! How nice to get to spend some time with your brother. I don't have a brother, although I always wanted an older brother. I have two younger sisters instead!

A good husband is such a blessing.
I have a younger sister, too - and I love her so much! I get to see her a lot more often, she lives nearby.
