Holiday Bliss ~ December 16th

We get very excited for Christmas around here. If you didn't know, you'd certainly figure it out as soon as you walked in the door. Let me show you our Advent Calenders.

Isn't this one cute?  You can't really see it, but there is a candy cane on the end of a piece of yarn that gets moved from pocket to pocket each day.  If you look closely it's in the pocket numbered 16 today.

Then we have the Story of Christmas Advent Calendar.

When you open it up, there are little booklets that break the Christmas story down into daily readings.

This would probably have been a better picture on day one. :)

After the story is read, the little booklet of the day is hung on the tree.

These ones have a piece of chocolate behind every door.  These are usually awarded after our lessons each day.

Last but not least is my old friend Kermit.  He's been with me for a long time now.

I can't believe he'll be holding single digits for the rest of the season.
