Festive Holiday Bundt Cake - Easy to Make, Great for Holiday Parties!
It is already the last Friday of the month again. This was meant to be part of a monthly link up that shared holiday ideas, but that was cancelled.
I was prepared in advance however, and do have a holiday favorite idea to share. This Christmas Holly Wreath Bundt Cake looks fantastic, and is so easy to make! Every time I bring it to a Holiday party or get together, it makes a great impression.
To make your own, you will need:
- One Bundt Cake, Baked and Cooled.
- Green Icing,
- White Icing
- Red M&Ms
- Silk Holly Leaves
- A Round Cake Plate
2. Warm the green icing so that it pours easily, but isn't runny.
3. Evenly glaze the cake with green icing allowing it to run down the sides and the middle.
4. Wait five minutes while the icing cools.
5. Warm the white icing.
6. Apply the white icing in a similar fashion, using just enough to create a snowy look.
7. Before the white icing is set, add 3 groups of three red M&Ms to the top of the cake to serve as holly berries.
8. Add the silk holly leaves where the M&Ms have been placed.
I have also added flaked coconut to the cake plate so it looks like it is sitting in snow.
Merry Christmas!
