During Catholic Mass, before the Gospel reading, we usually say or sing Alleluia. During Lent, we do not. We won't rejoice in that way again until the Easter Vigil Mass. Instead, we reflect, we wait, we try to grow closer, stronger and more faithful while we wait for the day when we will join in the chorus of the angels again.
