This fun, weekly meme follows an alphabet theme. This week, we visit “Y“. That means in two weeks, we'll be starting back at letter A again, so if you'd like to join in, start thinking of an A post!
I love the letter Y. It's a consonant, it's a vowel, it can sound like yes, or spy. It can be a dipthong as in eye, or hay. There is no Y in the ancient Greek or Latin alphabet, but calling out to someone named Julius sounded like, "Hey, Yule Ee Us!"
Overall, Y is a Pretty cool letter. However, because it's 11:15 PM, and Alphabe-Thursday is drawing to a close, I'll share the Y word on my mind right now.
